How would you rate your own self image?
-I would say I generally have a positive self image. I make mistakes and have negative feeling about myself in my wrong choices, but I feel that it is healthy. This helps me to strive for growth.
How would people describe you when they first meet you?
-I would say that people feel like I am a kind, calm, gentle, and somewhat reserved person.
How would people describe you after they have known you for several years?
-People would likely describe me as considerate, empathetic, logical, yet fun and silly.
What do you think people who know you do not see?
-It is hard for me to talk about myself even though it can be important that I do so.
As a person, who do you want to become?
-I want to become a person who has a strong relationship with God that is evident to others through my actions and the way I treat others.
As a professional, who do you want to become?
-I want to become a person that people feel they can turn to for professional support, but also a person who knows when they should reach out and get help from colligues.
Is there Anything holding you back from becoming the person and profession you want to become?
-It can be difficult finding a good balance of what I can handle and have control over and what I can not. I feel that this knowledge will come with age and experience, if I am attentive to it.

When situations arise that require someone to lead, do you tend to take the initiative and lead? Or do you prefer to follow?
-It depends on the situation. If it is something that I am very passionate about and have a vision for, I will lead. If it is something that I am not as confident about, I am more likely to follow as I am not likely the best one for the job.
In situations where you made the decision to lead, describe the factors you personally considered before you took the initiative to lead.
-I consider if I am best to be in the leadership position, what knowledge I have on the subject, and what ideas I could have that would be beneficial to what we are doing.
In what type of situations do you feel most confident to take the initiative and lead?
-I feel most confident to lead in smaller groups or in areas that I have a lot of experience.
Describe the characteristics a person must possess before you would agree to follow him or her.
-kindness, understanding, determination, inclusive, flexible, driven
Name a person you would follow. Why would you follow this person?
-Jesus, as he fully exemplifies all of the characteristics that I listed above. He is drive. He follows his mission and firmly believes in it. While he is promoting these strong beliefs and ideals. In all of this he is still kind and inclusive.

-I feel that one of the best ways to connect with people is by asking more questions than we answer. It is also very important to share things about yourself, but people really long for others to know about them so it is important to give the opportunity for them to do so.
Are you good at connecting with others? Why or why not?
-I can be good at connecting with others if I am very intentional about doing so. I am very good about connection with people I know better, because I can be slower to open up. When I do know people through, I feel like I am very good at being intentional about our connection.
What is the major obstacle that prevents you from connecting with others more deeply?
-I feel like I get scared that I am going to really open up to someone who I have not opened up to before and they are not going to be as invested as I am. Because of this, I feel like it takes me longer to open up and connect to others. When I do though, I am very intentional about connecting and reaching out.

How much time do you spend thinking about what you believe, where you are going, and how you can imporve yourself as a person or professional?
-I spend a lot of time thinking about what I believe in and where I am going professionally and personally. I have a plan of wanting to teach in a public school to help students know that they are loved no matter what circumstance they might be in. I hope to become a teacher who promotes this in my classroom. I can improve by being more intentional in this way. I can also improve by making more plans and goals that will help me to be more intentional about helping people feel loved.
What is the major obstacle that prevents you from taking more time for personal and professional growth?
-Life gets so busy. I have work, homework, sleep, and keeping up with friends and family. At the end of the day sometimes I feel like there is not enough time to take for that growth as it can often seem extra. It is not extra, but instead should be thought of as necessary. It is important to intentionally schedule time for this as
it is so important in life to help one be the best that they can be.
